    What different AYUSH licenses are there?

    To develop and manufacture Ayurvedic items in India, four different categories of AYUSH licenses are issued. You must be aware of all of these licenses, which are available via the ministry of Ayush:

     

    • Retail License for AYUSH

    If you wish to offer ayurvedic items as a retailer, you must have this AYUSH accreditation.

    • Wholesale License for AYUSH

    If you wish to offer ayurvedic items wholesale, you are given this AYUSH Premium Certificate.

    • Manufacturing License for AYUSH

    The individuals responsible for issuing this AYUSH registration work as medication and medicine manufacturers for Ayurveda. It is frequently referred to as an AYUSH drug license.

    • Loan License for AYUSH

    An individual who uses the location, tools, and personnel of another who holds the principal manufacturing license is granted a loan license.

     

    AYUSH certificate documentation requirements in India –

    The following are the papers you need to obtain an AYUSH license or the prerequisites for an AYUSH license:

      • Company’s MOA and AOA
      • Address evidence (a copy of the lease) for the property
      • The owner, director, or partner of the firm must provide photo identification.
      • Information about the refrigerator
      • Affidavit confirming the Delhi Ayush Council’s compliance with the MPD 2021 Qualification Proof Registration.
      • Appointment letters and the company’s director’s bio

    Factors to Consider When Applying for an AYUSH License in India

    • A medicine or cosmetic company cannot be started or maintained by anybody or any organisation unless the necessary licenses are obtained.
    • All types of drug businesses, such as those involving allopathic, homoeopathic, ayurveda, herbal, or Unani medicines, are safeguarded under the Drug & Cosmetic Act of 1940.
    • A license from the Ministry of AYUSH is required before someone may begin producing Ayurvedic drugs.

     

    The COPP is the official document that attests to the manufacturing company’s rightful authorization to legally sell its pharmaceutical product in the country they are developing. The administrative authority in charge of accepting the application will ask COPP to confirm that the product is being marketed as a completed commercial good in the country where it is being produced if it is being produced overseas.
